Sandra “Sandi” Lou Madison, age 80, of Wilber, passed away March 21, 2023, at her home.
She was born Nov. 18, 1942, in San Luis Obispo, California. She lived at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida for three years and then in Kyoto Japan, for three years. In her earlier years, Sandi enjoyed bowling and working with ceramics. Later in life, she liked water coloring and collecting anything with elephants, as that was her favorite animal. She loved to watch the birds in the lilac bush that Paul planted for her outside the window at their home. Sandi worked in the housekeeping department at Bryan Hospital and at Dillards, which is where she and Paul met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Carter; and her special auntie Margaret. Sandi is survived by her husband, Paul; brother in law, John Carter; three children, Mike Kliment, Todd Kliment and Lisa Swartz; step-daughter, Shirley Mitchell-Taft; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was March 27. Memorial contributions are suggested in care of the family. Arrangements by Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber.
