Ruth Eileen (Kahle) June, age 86, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, in her home with family by her side. She was born May 12, 1936, to August and Edithe (Trepka) Kahle in Crete.
Ruth was known for her love of the outdoors, sports, her animals and being on the farm. She graduated from Crete High School in 1955. Ruth started work in 1970 at City Bank & Trust in Crete, until retiring in 2013. Ruth married the late Glen E. June at Doane Chapel on Aug. 17, 1957.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Michael, Douglas and daughter-in-law, April, and four grandchildren, Blake, Sawyer, Mason and Maddax. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen E. June; daughter, Deborah Eileen (Koppitz); parents, August and Edithe (Trepka) Kahle; siblings, Harry, Donald, Dorthy (Eberspacher) and Marjorie (Bishop).
