Ronnie Gale Richtarik was born Feb. 4, 1947, to Stanley E. and Irene (Filipi) Richtarik in Lincoln, and passed away Oct. 25, 2022.

He attended Wilber High School, where he graduated in 1965. Ronnie enlisted in the Army in 1966, and served our country in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. After he was honorably discharged in 1969, Ronnie had several jobs and his last one was at Bunge Milling, where he retired after 45 years. He was briefly married to Sharon Korinek, and to this union, their son, Jason was born. Ronnie enjoyed many activities, such as golfing, hunting and fishing with his son, Jason, and going to his granddaughter, Molly’s, various sporting events. Ronnie was also a member of the American Legion Post 101 and Wilber Sportsman’s Club. He was an avid Husker football fan and could be found watching the game every Saturday. Ronnie loved spending time with friends and family. He was always so good with his nieces, nephews and many grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley E. and Irene Richtarik; infant brother, Russell Richtarik; and brothers, Stanley W. and Michael Richtarik.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Jason (Darcy) Richtarik; grandchildren, Molly Richtarik, Brandon (Kara) Betka, Melissa (Mark) Vejraska, Allison Muncey and partner Thoun Sisovoung, along with many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Connie (Melvin) Maas and Lori (David) Lynch; many nieces, nephews and his estranged adopted son, Kenneth Richtarik.
