Victoria Lee Longwell, 76, passed away Dec. 2, 2025, in Wahoo. Born on April 28, 1949, in Beatrice, Victoria lived a life marked by resilience, warmth and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Throughout her life, Victoria was known for her tireless work ethic and generous spirit. She was a woman who always put her family first and found joy in the simple pleasures of life – whether it was basking in the sunshine outdoors or spending cherished moments with her beloved puppy, Panda. Her love for nature and fresh air reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life.
Victoria had a creative soul. She loved to draw and dance, often filling her days with music – especially the timeless voice of Elvis Presley. Her passion for art and rhythm brought light into the lives of those around her. Though small in stature her son gave her the name “Mini mom,” she carried a big personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Nick Helzer, Tammy Helzer, Thomas Longwell, and Jessica Longwell; as well as by her seven grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind her sister, Charlotte; brother-in-law, Ken Maschmeier; and brother, John Baker.
Victoria now joins in rest her parents, William Lynn Baker and Leva Theresa Mumby; sisters Jackie, Sharon and Darlene; and brothers, Mitchell and Phil.
Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely and the memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
A memorial service is planned Friday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St.
