Andrew “Andy” or “Drew” Scott Hartshorn, age 49, of Lincoln, was called home by the Lord on Aug. 31, 2026.
Andrew was born Feb. 21, 1977, to David and Cheryl Hartshorn joining the new family with his 5-year-old sister, Tracy, in Lincoln. He went to Lincoln Northeast High School and graduated in 1995. He had a deep love for working on and restoring vehicles, wood working, and designing computers, along with circuit board and robotic creations. He also loved being outdoors, animals, spending time with family and friends.
In 2006, he met his girlfriend, Christina. They celebrated 20 years together and enjoyed sharing their love with their fur babies.
He is survived by his parents, Dave and Cheryl Hartshorn; sister, Tracy Moul; aunts and uncles, Cindy and Dave and Lorriane and John and uncle Don; along with many other family members and loving friends.
He is proceeded in passing by his grandparents, Ed and Erma Dvorak, Donald and Betty Hartshorn; aunt, Carol Hartshorn; great-grandparents; extended family; and his pets, Angel, Sumner and JJ.
The funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. Visitation is Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude.
