Patak filed in the Department of Water, Energy, and Environment (Department) non-expedited transfer NEX-11917 to change of location of use for a portion of appropriation A-10865. Water appropriation A-10865, with a priority date of June 13, 1966, authorizes the diversion 1.20 cubic feet per second of water from the Big Blue River at a point of diversion in the NW¼NW¼ of Section 03, Township 07 North, Range 04 East of the 6th P.M. Saline County, to irrigate 84.0 acres. The applicant proposes to change the location of use of 48.2 acres currently located in the NE½NW¼ and NW¼SW¼ of Section 03 Township 07 North, Range 04 East of the 6th P.M. Saline County to the NE¼SE¼ of Section 15 and the SW¼NW¼ of Section 14.
