Village of Dorchester Board of Trustees Special Meeting June 10, 2026 A Special Meeting of the Village of Dorchester Board of Trustees was held Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Village office, and was called to order at 7:45 a.m. Chairperson Miller advised those present of the Open Meetings Act. Answering Roll Call were board members, Nancy Tellez, Tammie Lang, and Chairperson Roger Miller. Matt Shaw and Nate Hitchins were excused. Also present was Jen Kasl, Clerk-Treasurer; Dawn Zoubek, Deputy Clerk, and Brent Kasl, Utilities Superintendent. (All motions carried are unanimous “for” unless otherwise noted). Advance notice of the meeting was posted at the Dorchester US Post Office, First State Bank, NE and Village Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss summer mowing options and to approve the purchase of a mosquito sprayer. Discussion was held on hiring someone to help with mowing the cemetery. Motion by Lang, seconded by Miller to have Clerk Kasl check with mowing companies and get bids. Motion carried (3-0-2). Discussion was held on the quotes for a new mosquito sprayer. Motion by Tellez, seconded by Lang to approve the quote for the Grizzley. Motion carried (3-0-2) Motion by Tellez, seconded by Lang to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried (3-0-2).
