This is a synopsis of the Saline County Board of Equalization’s January 5, 2021, regular meeting proceedings. A complete set of the proceedings is on file in the Board of Equalizations’ Journal, is of public record in the Saline County Clerk’s office and on our website: www.co.saline.ne.us SALINE COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION The regular meeting of the Saline County Board of Equalization opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, by Chairperson Marvin A. Kohout. Present were Kohout, Russ Karpisek, Stephanie A. Krivohlavek, and Philip Hardenburger Commissioners, County Clerk Anita K. Bartels, and Administrative Assistant Tim McDermott, Commissioner Janet J. Henning was absent. Notice of said meeting was posted in the County Clerk’s office, on the Saline County Website, and published in all three county newspapers prior to the meeting, in compliance with State Statutes. Let the record show that all proceedings are electronically recorded. Kohout advised those present of the open meetings act posted at the back of the room. The Board: Approved the agenda as presented; Approved the minutes of the December 22, 2020, meeting as presented; Approved Tax List Correction 2021-01 and 2021-02 both for Parcel: 760029105; Approved Tax List Correction 2021-03 for Parcel: 760147868; Approved Tax List Correction 2021-04 and 2021-05 both for Parcel: 760004978; Approved an application for vehicle exemption for a 2007 Toyota Avalon from the Sacred Heart Church in Crete; There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 a.m. The next regular meeting will be on January 19, 2021, at 9:15 a.m., in the Saline County Commissioners’ Room, Court House, Wilber, NE.
