Susan Kay Shively was born May 31, 1970, in Beatrice, lived in DeWitt and later moved to Crete when she finished her schooling.
She worked at Kawasaki and married Bradley Kovar at Grace United Methodist Church in Crete. To this union, two children were born, Sarah Marie Kovar and Aaron Vincent Kovar.
After their divorce, Susie got full custody of the children. She was a loving mother.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Peter Donald Shively; and step-father, Leroy Francis Parrish.
Susan leaves her mother, Naomi Parrish; her children, Sarah and Aaron Kovar of Crete; sister, Donna Begley of Peralta, New Mexico; brother, Ron Shively and wife Andrea of Beatrice; sister, Judy Gray and husband Robert of Wymore.
