Shirley Joan Foster passed away July 31 in Crete. She was born Nov. 17, 1932, to Morris and Alice Rhea.
A graduate of Crete High School in 1949, Shirley married Arnold Foster in March 1952. Together they built a family and shared many years before Arnold's passing.
Shirley is lovingly remembered by her special companion Freddie Rogers; her brother, Charles; sister, Samie; children, Kim (Katie), Mike (Jeannine, Sally (Kevin), Dan (Debbie) and Christopher (Elizabeth; daughter-in-law, Julie; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold; son, Roger; granddaughter, Alexa; grandson, Jesse; and sister, Sally.
In accordance with Shirley's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date when her children are able to attend. A special thanks to everyone at Tabitha in Crete for their wonderful care and support.
