Randy Ray Bargman was born Dec. 22, 1966, to Elmer E Bargman and Bonnie B (Stern) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln.
He was the youngest of seven children. He graduated in 1987 from Crete High School. After graduation, he worked at Sportsmans Bar & Grill, where he developed his love for cooking, until he joined the custodial staff at Doane University. Randy worked at Doane for 27 years, which is where he was currently employed. It was there that he embraced his fellow workers as his second family.
In his spare time, Randy enjoyed watching football, watching Family Guy, going to the casino, concerts, the state fair, dirt track races in Beatrice, and dancing in his younger days. He especially liked spending time with his family and friends.
Through a mutual friend, he met his life-long partner, Deb Luzum. They enjoyed their life together for 35 years. They also shared their lives with Colby and Toby, their furry family.
Randy is survived by his life-long partner, Deb; brother, Dennis (Sue) Bargman; sisters, Janice Znamenacek, Mona (Dan) Heusinkvelt, and Lisa Bargman Safar. Other survivors include Elaine Luzum, Terry Luzum and Jody, Rhonda (Larry) Hajek, and Kevin (Carrie) Luzum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins; and his Doane family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Ricky Bargman; sister, Jeanette Bargman; brother-in-law, Roger Znamenacek; nephews, David Znamenacek, Bryan Bargman, and Rico Benavidez; and great-nephew, Josef Alhachami; and great-niece, Maggie Boyer.
