NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Public notice is hereby given by the Planning Commission of the City of Crete, Nebraska, that a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on May 22, 2023, at the Crete City Hall, 243 E. 13th Street, Crete, Nebraska. The purpose of the public hearing is to obtain public comment prior to the review and consideration of a proposed amendment to the redevelopment plan for the City of Crete for a specific redevelopment project. The property which is the subject of this Notice and of the public hearing is an approximately 3 acre portion of the parcels identified as PIDs 760049874, 760147708, and 760050201, and legally described, respectively, as follows: A parcel of land located in the Northeast Quarter (NE¼) of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Eight (8) North, Range Four (4) East of the 6th P.M., Saline County, Nebraska, said tract shall be fully described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at the North Quarter (N¼) corner of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Eight (8) North, Range Four (4) East, and the point of beginning; thence North 88°23'54" East (an assumed bearing) on the North line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, a distance of 800.24 feet; thence South 01°36'06" East, a distance of 45.00 feet; thence North 88°23'54" East, on the South right of way of Country Road "E", a distance of 750.00 feet; thence South 01°36'06" East, a distance of 1278.33 feet, to a point on the South line of the North One Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26; thence South 88°12'05" West, on said South line, a distance of 1539.82 feet, to the W 1/16 Corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26; thence North 02°03'06" West, on said West line, a distance of 1328.66 feet, to the point of beginning.
