INVITATION FOR BIDS City of Crete Crete Municipal Airport, Crete, Nebraska AIP Project No. 3-31-0022-017/018/019/020 Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on March 26, 2026, at City of Crete, City Hall, 243 East 13th Street, Crete, Nebraska and then publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct 2-Bay Box Hangar and Approach. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Embankment in Place (1,410 CY); 6” Concrete Pavement (1,940 SY); 6” Aggregate Base (1,954 SY); Construction of Pre-Engineered 2-Bay Box Hangar with 6” Reinforced Concrete Floor and Footings; Hangar Electrical System; Seeding; Erosion Control Plans, specifications, and bid documents are on file and may be inspected at: Olsson, 601 P Street, Suite 200, Lincoln, NE 68508 Crete Municipal Airport, 2429 County Road F, Crete, Nebraska, 68333 Nebr. Dept. of Transportation, 1500 Nebraska Parkway, Lincoln, NE 68502 Quest CDN (see below) To be qualified to Bid, a complete set of plans, specifications, contract documents and proposal form must be obtained from either: 1) www.questcdn.com for a fee of $22 (nonrefundable). Contractors may inspect the project site by arrangement with Tom Ourada at 402.826.4312. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 0% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner’s award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR § 26.53. General Civil Rights Provisions: In all its activities within the scope of its airport program, the Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders, and such rules as identified in Title VI List of Pertinent Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. This provision is in addition to that required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The above provision binds the Contractor and subcontractors from the bid solicitation period through the completion of the contract.
