Wilber agriculture and animal science students are raising two hogs, named Pork chop and Queso, this year under the direction of teacher Cara Holtorf. One of the hogs will be butchered and used for next year's food science and meat science class, and the other will be raffled off at the FFA banquet on April 29. The Swanton Easter Egg Hunt is tomorrow at 2 p.m. The hunt will take place in the park and children can meet the Easter Bunny.
The second annual Adam Schoenbeck Memorial Cornhole Tournament is tomorrow, March 23 in the Western gym. Team registration begins at 2 p.m. and bags start at 3 pm. The $30 registration fee per team will benefit the Western splash pad fund. contact Lacey at (402) 446-2392 with questions.
