Eunice Jean Underwood, 94, of Lincoln passed away Jan. 11, 2023. She was born March 6, 1928, in Lancaster County, to Elmer and Hannah (Sieck) Henning.
Eunice was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Family members include her daughters, Debra (Norm) Hedgecock and Nancy (Lester) Buckley, all of Lincoln; son, Scott Underwood, Henderson, Nevada; grandchildren, Jon (Jenny) Hedgecock, Jake (Taylor) Hedgecock, Greg (Kerstin) Buckley, Elizabeth (Matt) Breunsbach, Grant (Kelsey) Buckley, and George Underwood; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Eloise, and Jack Breunsbach, Vivian, Libby and Claire Buckley, Dylan, Lauren, and Asher Hedgecock. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; infant son; and son, Kevin; sisters, Marfae and Verna; and brother, Melvin.
The funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 724 S. 12th St. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the church. Arrangements by Roper and Sons Mortuary.
