DORCHESTER PLANNING COMMISSION OCTOBER 27, 2021 (CONDENSED) The meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order on October 27, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Building by Chairman Justin Sand. Answering Roll Call were members Chrm. Justin Sand, Faith Nerud, John Yeackley, Nancy Tellez, and Brent Zoubek. Advance notice of the hearing was posted at the Dorchester US Post Office, First State Bank, NE, Village of Dorchester office and in The Crete News. Motions to open the Public Hearing. Motions carried. Open Public Hearing The purpose of the meeting was to hear testimony in favor of and in opposition to and to answer questions in relation to a Conditional Use Permit for a Wireless Telecommunications Tower to be located at the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 8 North, Range 3 East of the 6th P.M., Dorchester, Saline County, Nebraska. Michael Doran, Roman Acquisitions Inc. presented info regarding the tower. Motion to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried. Having no concerns, motions made to recommend to the Village Board to approve the conditional use permit Motions carried. Motions to approve the July 29, 2021, Planning Commission meeting minutes.
