CITY OF CRETE INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2022 Crete Street Improvements (Street Improvement Districts 2022-01 to 2022-07) for the city of Crete, Nebraska,” JEO Project No. 220169.00, QuestCDN No. 8245456, will be received by the city clerk at 243 East 13th Street, Crete, NE 68333, until 10:00 AM on the 26th day of January 2022, and thereafter will be read aloud. The work is generally described as follows: The project will construct nine (9) blocks of concrete pavement 32 feet wide, including 4- to 5-foot-wide sidewalk, tree removal, storm sewer and associated inlets. There is 10,500 SY of 7” PCC paving, 22,000 SF of 4’ PCC sidewalks, 46 trees to be removed, 600 LF of 18” RCP storm sewer and 9 curb inlets. Opinion of Probable Cost $1,960,000.00 Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the city of Crete as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.
