Angela “Angie” Marie Johnson, age 60, from Crete, passed away April 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Aug. 29, 1965, to Raymond and Katherine Chrastil. She graduated from Crete High School in 1983. She married Norman Johnson on Jan. 24, 1986, and had four children – JoAnne, Logan, Valerie and Michael Johnson. Angie and Norman raised their children in Crete. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She loved karaoke, pool, keno, crime shows and having fun. She was a coach when needed for all of Valerie’s teams. She was a part of and was very active in all her children and grandchildren’s lives and activities. She worked at Allied Universal Security for the last 10 years before having to quit due to her cancer coming back. She fought a long battle for three years and is now resting in peace with our Lord in Heaven.
The funeral service was April 13, at Sacred Heart Church in Crete. Memorial contributions are suggested to be sent to Norman Johnson at 1540 Juniper Ave., Crete, NE 68333.
