Roy Alan Zach, 61, of Lincoln, graduated to Heaven on July 10, 2021, after battling liver cancer.
Roy was born Oct. 1, 1959, to Eugene and Mary Ann (Stehlik) Zach, and married Christine Taylor on April 21, 1990. He knew Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior and loved and protected his family and children. He had the biggest heart! Roy also loved fishing, old cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, woodworking, aquariums, Wilber Czech Days and dogs. He was a gypcrete operator in the construction industry.
Roy is survived by his wife, Christine; sons, Cody (Jessica Misner) Grape and Ryan (Steffen Haas) Taylor; mother, Mary Ann Zach; sister, Barbara (Jack) Burke, all of Lincoln; brother, David (Debbie) Zach of Centennial, Colorado; and nephew, Joshua Zach. He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Zach.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel in Lincoln with viewing one hour prior to service. Casual dress requested by the family.
