Patrick Allan “Pat” Dennison, 76, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at Heritage Care Center, Fairbury, with family by his side.

He was born March 17, 1946, in Cedar Rapids. Pat grew up in Neligh and graduated from Neligh High School in 1964 and from Sowella Tech School in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 1993. He was an aircraft mechanic and inspector and was the manager of Crete Airport and owner of Crete Aviation from April 1998 until January 2020.

Pat was married to Linda Dennison on Feb. 19, 1989. Pat enjoyed drag racing, flying and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; childrenc Lisza Coffey, Angie Dennison and Shelly Jackson; stepchildren, Nicole Robertson, Kenny (Jaccie) Allen, Clint (Amber) Allen and Scott (Christine) Robertson; brothers, Blaine (Angie) Barr, Keith (Kelly) Barr; sisters, Linda (RD) Davis, Bonnie (Steve) Ruzicka, Barb Riha (Kevin McLellan), Nancy Shipps and Mary Klinetobe; sisters-in-law, Joan Hemsley, Carole Lambert, Jane (Greg) Excell and Dee Barr; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernice Barr; brother, Ivan Barr; and step-son, Robertson.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Crete Berean Church. Condolences may be left for the family online at kunclfh.com.
