David Sinn, age 53, of Wilber, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at the Wilber Care Center. He was born April 21, 1967, in Lincoln, to Rosemary Notaro Walhstrom.
He graduated from Beatrice High School in 1985. He attended Highland Community College in Kansas and then transferred to Dana College (Blair) where he earned his BS degree in economics. Dave worked for many years at Schwan’s Sales in Crete. At the time of his death, he worked as a custodial manager at Doane University in Crete. He also enjoyed working part time at Walmart in its custodial department. David and Amy Woolard Sinn were married Sept. 26, 1998, in York. They attended First Lutheran Church in Wilber, where Dave served on the council.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Amy; sons, Austin and Dalton of Wilber; brothers, Mark Wahlstrom, Alex Wahstrom and JoDee Houseman, and Steven Walhstrom all of Beatrice; nephews, Matthew Shea and wife Brandy of Beatrice, PJ Wahlstrom of Wymore, Nathan, Connor and Cole Wahlstrom of Beatrice, Ethan Woolard of Seward, Dylan and Jeremiah Woolard of Table Rock; nieces Alisa Wahlstrom of Blue Rapids, Kansas, Kaitlynn Wahlstrom of Beatrice, Madelein Woolard of Seward; mother-in-law, Margot Woolard (Van Baxter) of York; brother-in-laws Mark Woolard and wife Peggy of Table Rock and Tim Woolard (Darcy Bear) of Fairbury. Preceding him in death were his parents, Stanley and Rosemary Wahlstrom, and father-in-law, Rev. Richard Woolard.
A memorial service will be Jan, 16, 2021, at First Lutheran Church in Wilber at 2 p.m. The service will be livestreamed via the church Facebook page. Memorial contributions are suggested in the care of the family. Condolences may be left for the family at www.kunclfh.com.
